Palestine Cinema Days Around the World – in London
Aflamuna in conjunction with the Radical Film Network present: Palestine Cinema Days Around the World – in London. In 2023, Film Lab Palestine had to postpone their Palestine Cinema Days festival. Instead of celebrating cinema in Palestine, they started bringing Palestine to the world. Again in 2024, “Palestine Cinema Days” will illuminate screens across the globe. These screenings will take place on November 2, the solemn anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. A group of London-based members of the Radical Film Network have got together with local venues to join this screening day, to amplify Palestinian voices, expose false narratives, and inspire collective action toward justice and liberation.
THAMESMEAD TEXAS are proud to present Palestine Cinema Days.

FILMS
Infiltrators – Khaled Jarrar, Documentary, 70 mins
A visceral Road Movie that chronicles the daily travails of Palestinians of all backgrounds as they seek routes through, under, around, and over a bewildering matrix of barriers.
Maloul Celebrates its Destruction – Michel Khleifi, Documentary, 31 mins
Ma’loul is a Palestinian village in Galilee. In 1948, it was destroyed by the Israeli armed forces, and its inhabitants were forced to flee either to Lebanon or neighboring Nazareth. Ever since, former Ma’loul residents are only allowed to visit it once a year, on the anniversary of the occupation. That is how a picnic on this day, on the site of the destroyed village, became a tradition.
